My Southern Homemade Chili recipe is made with ground beef, tomatoes, onions, chili beans, a cozy blend of spices, a little sweetness, my secret ingredient and as much spicy as you like!

My Southern Homemade Chili recipe is the perfect comfort food on a cooler day. This is also a delicious accompaniment for watching a football game on a lazy Sunday with the family!
This easy recipe is made with ground beef, tomatoes, tomato sauce, onions, chili beans, my own spice blend, my secret ingredient (shhhhh….cocoa powder) a little brown sugar and some cayenne for kicking it up to spicy. We honestly don’t like it very spicy, so feel free to add more cayenne to your taste.
Do you have picky eaters at your house? Me too!!! This happens to be my picky eater’s favorite dinner recipe. It’s a great way to get in those protein servings and SO tasty too!
Not only is this recipe easy to make, but it’s pretty quick as well. This is what you will need:
