Ultimate Cookies and Cream Shake

My Ultimate Cookies and Cream Shake is thick, creamy and filled with crushed Oreo cookies. It's quick and easy with just 3 ingredients!

  • blender
  • ice cream scooper
  • glass measuring cup
  • large glass, milkshake glass, or Mason jar (for serving)
Ingredients
  
  • 2 cups (300g) vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup (113g) milk I use whole milk for milkshakes
  • 10 (113g) Oreo cookies
  • whipped cream optional
Instructions
 
  • Add 8 Oreo cookies to a blender. (Reserve 2 cookies and crush them up for garnish.)
  • Add lid to blender and pulse until cookies are crushed.
  • Add ice cream to the crushed Oreos in the blender.
  • Add milk.
  • Cover the blender and pulse on and off until the milkshake is blended to the consistency you're happy with. (I definitely like mine on the thicker side.)
  • Pour into glasses.
  • Add whipped cream. (Optional but recommended!)
  • Sprinkle crushed Oreos on top.
  • Add a straw and enjoy!
Notes
Milkshakes are best as soon as they are made. They lose their texture if you try to save them in the refrigerator so I don't really recommend trying to store them.
