There are a few reasons why I chill my cookie dough at the Wendt House Kitchen. It may take a little more time, but it’s worth it!

Does chilling your cookie dough really make a difference? The answer is YES.

Chilling your cookie dough for one hour or more keeps the cookies from spreading too much in the oven. Because who wants a flat cookie?

In addition to reducing the spread, chilling the dough makes for a chewier and more flavorful cookie.

It’s really a WIN WIN! That’s why I chill my cookie dough friends.
